National day squeezes a large share of the year’s turnover into a single evening: 14 July in France, 1 August in Switzerland, 21 July in Belgium, 2 June in Italy, 12 October in Spain. Every town wants its display at the same hour, over a lake, a stadium or a square, with a large crowd and safety distances to enforce. The shows are longer, with large calibre shells, candles, cakes arranged in scenes, and they are often preceded by a torchlight parade or a public dance.
The client is a municipality or a group of councils: a tender or compared quotes from winter onwards, a council vote, a purchase order, payment thirty days or more after approval. You must plan early: order stock, book pyrotechnicians, prepare the declarations for each site. On the night itself you cannot be everywhere: each crew needs its firing plan, its loaded products, its paperwork and a reachable lead pyrotechnician. What breaks: a late declaration, a pyrotechnician who drops out the day before, a van loaded with another show’s stock.
PyroDesk creates one dossier per town, all visible on the same Kanban from quote to payment. The quote is produced in five minutes, the contract is signed online by the council, the authority declaration is pre-filled site by site, with the regulatory watch to check the local decrees. Stock reserves the items show by show, the national listings board finds available pyrotechnicians for reinforcement, and missions are assigned crew by crew in the planning. After the evening, the invoice goes to each town along with the accounting export.
