A firing plan is built on a sheet: line by line, calibre, effect, ignition time. Until the night of the show, nobody sees the display. The client imagines a finale they will never see, the pyrotechnician finds out too late that a fan of candles goes into the trees, and a 150 mm shell bursts above an audience seated too close. Existing simulation software is expensive, installs on a single PC and does not understand French suppliers' catalogues.
PyroSimulator is included in PyroDesk, in beta, and runs in the browser with nothing to install. You import a file's firing plan in one click; effects are recognised from your French supplier catalogues — shells, candles, cakes, fans, chains, peacock tails, fire pots. Rendering is matched to real calibres (burst altitude and diameter), with tube tilt, timeline and sounds, ground-level spectator view and 3D scenery. You save drafts, export the racks and the firing table, and send changes back to the file without overwriting your prices.
Mid-June, a council is hesitating between two versions of the finale. You open the simulator from the file on the office computer and play both drafts: the first, with vertical 150 mm shells, bursts above the grandstand; the second, with tubes tilted 15° towards the lake, clears the area. You show the spectator view to the deputy mayor, who picks the second. The changes go back into the firing plan, the racks are exported for rigging and the firing table is ready.
