A fireworks quote is often written in the evening after a day of rigging, by copying an old Word document and changing the town's name and a couple of lines. The classic mistakes: last year's price left in, VAT miscalculated, a clause that no longer matches the show, and a document sent four days after the call — long enough for the council to ring a competitor. When the client is Belgian, Swiss-Italian or Spanish, everything has to be translated by hand on top.
PyroDesk builds the quote from the file: you pick your services (show, technical crew, travel, options) and the application works out totals, VAT and deposits. The PDF carries your branding and your clauses, in the client's language — French, English, Spanish or Italian — and goes out through the portal, where it is signed by finger or online. The signed quote becomes the contract, then the invoice, with no re-entry. Bank-transfer payments are tracked file by file and flow into the accounts.
A Thursday in May, a wine estate calls about a wedding on 12 July: the couple are English. You open the file, tick '12-minute show', '80 km travel' and 'additional pyrotechnician', check the total and switch the language to English. The PDF is generated and sent through the portal at 6:20 pm. The next morning the signature is in and the requested deposit shows in the file. The contract is produced straight away from the same quote.
