Internal messaging for fireworks crews

Talk to your crew and subcontractors without leaving PyroDesk: private conversations, groups per show and a general feed.

During the season, a show's information travels through a WhatsApp group here, a text there, a call nobody wrote down. The changed rigging time sent to one crew member never reaches the other; the subcontractor asks for the venue manager's number you have already given three times. Six months later, when a client disputes something, there is no way to find who said what and when. And work conversations get mixed up with holiday photos.

PyroDesk messaging brings your collaborators and subcontractors together inside the application, in real time. You have private conversations, groups — one per show, per crew or per topic — and a general feed for what concerns everyone. Because the exchanges live in the same place as the files, a message can be found six months later. Messages sent by a client from their portal, for their part, land in the relevant file view, so you reply with the context in front of you.

Friday 13 July, 2 pm. You create the group 'Saint-Just show 14/07' with the two pyrotechnicians, the seasonal hire and the subcontractor bringing the truck. You post the updated firing plan, the meeting time brought forward to 4 pm and the rack positions. At 3:30 pm the seasonal hire asks where to park: the answer is visible to everyone. The next day, the general feed announces the weekly debrief. Nobody had to look for a phone number.

Frequently asked questions

Who can take part in messaging?

The users of your account (depending on plan F2, F3 or F4) and the subcontractors and partners you invite. Clients do not use messaging but their portal, whose messages land in the file.

Do messages arrive in real time?

Yes. Messaging runs live inside PyroDesk, on computer, tablet and phone, with nothing to install. A message posted in a group is visible immediately to all its members, including the subcontractor invited on that particular show.

Should I create one group per show?

That is the most practical use: one group per display with the people on site that evening. But you can also create groups per crew or per topic, keep private conversations and use the general feed for announcements.
