Definition
Daytime fireworks are a display fired in full daylight, where the light of stars would be invisible: it relies on coloured smoke, smoke and parachute shells, confetti, streamers, flags and sound effects. It is a service type in its own right, requested for daytime weddings, inaugurations, sporting events, school fêtes and corporate events, and increasingly as a substitute for a night display in towns that limit late-evening noise. From a regulatory standpoint nothing changes: the products are classified F2 to F4 like any other, the 35 kg threshold and the presence of F4 trigger the CERFA, and the fallout zone is wider because parachutes and smoke drift far downwind. It differs from a night display in how it reads: the smoke does the drawing.

Daytime fireworks open 3 pm slots where the season's diary is full after 10 pm.
