Definition
The client portal is the online space, reached through a secure link specific to each job, where the organiser views and signs the documents of their display without creating an account: quote, contract, prevention plan, insurance certificate, deposit and balance invoices, then the documents useful on show day such as the site plan or the firing schedule. It replaces the chain of emails and attachments in which successive versions of a quote get lost. The client asks questions and receives answers in the same place, which leaves a record in case of disagreement. For a municipality the portal is also the way to circulate the file between the elected official, the technical department and the accountant. Its security rests on a unique time-limited token and on encrypted exchanges.
In practice, for the display company
A quote signed with a finger on the mayor's phone, on the evening of the council meeting, beats a PDF printed, signed, scanned and lost. The PyroDesk portal displays in the client's language, presents the documents in the job's order, notifies the pyrotechnician at every signature or message, and also serves as the announcement channel in case of postponement.
