Fireworks display quote

Definition

The quote is the priced proposal the pyrotechnician gives the organiser before any commitment: description of the display (duration, number of shells and calibres, effects, soundtrack), venue, date and firing time, price before and after VAT at 20 %, period of validity, payment and postponement terms, excluded services (barriers, security, cleaning). Once accepted and signed it constitutes the contract. With a private individual, the Consumer Code requires full pre-contractual information; with a municipality, the quote answers a public order and, below 40,000 euros before tax, is exempt from advertising and competitive tendering, but must state the company's registration details and be followed by a purchase order. The quote also determines the display's regulatory regime, since the list of fireworks fixes the net explosive content and the presence of any F4 or T2 articles.

In practice, for the display company

A display quote is composed like a firing plan: by picking products. PyroDesk builds the quote straight from the firing plan and the stock, applies margins per family, adds labour and travel lines, sends it to the client portal for signature and turns the acceptance into contract, deposit and job file in one step.
